Today was finally the first day of preschool. Time for crafts, playtime, friends and recess! Avery is going twice a week and Jack goes three times a week. Mommy finally gets time during the day to work (no more late nights!) and everyone gets a little more excitement in our lives. Both kids did great, leaving mom at the door wondering whether they'd even miss her. Good reports all around from the teachers ... in all a stellar first day.
Of course, we had to do some pre-preschool bike riding...

Is it just me - or does Jack look like a second grader?
And I'm a little torn on Avery - either she will:
A. Beat the boys up on the playground.
or
B. Break their hearts with those killer eyes!
