The weather is cooling down (slightly) and the mountains are starting to show signs of fall. Jack can barely wait for snow. "Is it going to snow tomorrow??!" I sent them outside to practice their sledding technique with a cardboard box (on a very tiny slope). Needless to say, it was the best fun of the week.

Luna, poor girl, had a bit of surgery on her ear to fix a hematoma. Gross. So she'll be wearing a lovely cone for a couple weeks. Since she has no peripheral vision, it only makes sense that she jets around the house at mock speed. Then stop, then jet, then crash. She's taken to following me around the house and ramming the backs of my legs with the cone. If she wasn't so pitiful, I'd be annoyed, but it's hard to be angry at a dog that looks like this:
